Road Test is done at Sharon Driving School's Office: 59 Pond St, Suite B in Sharon.

Sharon Driving School offers Massachusetts driver's license road tests every Saturday or Sunday (Class "D" passenger vehicles only.)

Everyone Is Welcome! Over 18 or under 18 from another driving school

Did you know that 50-60% of people taking a weekday Massachusetts driver's license test at the MassDOT do not pass? RMV fees and Proof of Legal Presents can be done at RMV branch or at www.massrmv.com IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DO THIS BEFORE A ROAD TEST

All road tests are conducted by the RMV EXAMINERS ( they do not work for Sharon Driving School)

• Arrive at our main office in Sharon, MA (directions are provided in your confirmation email)
• Bring your non-laminated and legible Learners Permit. If a permit is in BAD condtion a student can be rejected 
• Bring your properly completed and legible application form that is signed by you and your parent/guardian who authorizes you to obtain your license. Form must be completed in pen.

Location: 59 Pond St Sharon ( Main office in Sharon)
Vehicle: Toyota Corolla ( Student can not bring their own car and we will provide a car that is available)
Sponsor: Certified Sharon Driving School instructor, who will ensure your test is fair and goes smoothly, instructor can not assist a student during a test
Examiner: MassDOT RMV employee

Sharon Driving School needs to be paid the $165 fee least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled road test.

Weekend RMV road tests are a special arrangement with RMV and RMV road test can not be canceled once it is booked. SDS has to go by RMV Schedule. Once we submit a list to RMV, road tests can not be canceled

Road test date is tentative, it all depends on RMV schedule. IF SDS doed not get road tests for one weekend, we will put you down for following weekend automatically. It is a responsibilty of a student to inform SDS that a studnet is not avaible for the follwing weekend,Sharon driving school will do the best to accommodate all the students requests on a specific date and if a road test is canceled and moved it all because RMV denied our request du to the lack of an examiner, a client will be put on a next weekend test date. Money that client paid for a specific weekend is transferred to next available weekend road test date.

1. Driver's Ed certificate needs to be processed and in a system before a road test could be scheduled with Sharon Driving School. SDS will have to send a request to RMV to transfer record from the other school to our school. Usually it will take about a week to do a transfer. WE CANNOT BOOK A ROAD TEST UNTIL TRANSFER COMES THROUGH.

2. Student need to have a permit for 6 month from date of issue before road test is booked. SDS can not book a test before 6 month( 184 Days from date of issue of Permit) if under 18

3. SDS has to ask RMV for transfer and that could take about a week. All request need to send to sharondrivingschool@hotmail.com

Sharon driving school reserves a right to change the date of a test. SDS will get a final confirmation from RMV a week before a test.

Reasons for another weekend date:

1. RMV does not have an examiner for Sharon Driving School for that weekend

2. RMV cancles a test due to unsafe weather conditions

Client will be notified by email or phone that is on record

Weekday License Tests with the RMV:$250

All Road test Dates are Tenative.We might get a Sat or Sunday test

Final Confirmation will be done 7 days before a date on a time and exact date. Payment needs to be in 2 weeks in advance.

Payment could be done by mailing us a payment or calling us at 781 784 7717 to pay over the phone

**IMPORTANT: NON SDS STUDENTS NEED TO HAVE A DRIVER'S ED CERT IN A RMV COMPUTER TO BOOK A ROAD TEST

IF THE STUDENT FAILS THE TEST OR DOES NOT SHOW UP FOR THE TEST OR GETS REJECTED BY THE RMV EXAMINER. MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. IF THE STUDENT CHANGES THE DATE OF THE ROAD TEST AFTER SDS SUBMITS THE LIST TO THE RMV, THERE WILL BE A $100 FEE TO RESHEDULE TO ANOTHER DATE. OR IF RMV TAKES A STUDENT OFF A LIST DUE TO LACK OF CERTIFICATE OR ANOTHER EXAM THE $100 FEE WILL ALSO APPLY
